social innovation and regenerative business

Bistra is a social innovator, entrepreneur, and poet working at the intersection of innovation, civil society, and regenerative business. She supports individuals, organisations, and companies in combining innovative tools to grow positive social and environmental impact.

In 2008, she became one of the core drivers of a civic movement in North Macedonia that led to the creation of the region’s most widely used youth portal, Mladiinfo. Her work since has taken her across Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia, where she has developed and managed projects, programs, and support systems for social innovation.

Bistra has collaborated with the European Commission, UN PRME, UNIDO, Impact Hub, GSEN, and other international partners. She has contributed to the creation and scaling of more than five innovation networks and entities across the CEE region and has shared her experience at over 140 international events and conferences.

She is currently Managing Partner at Heartbeats Innovation & Communication, a professional service agency dedicated to responsible work, and founder of larger.world, an unlearning platform and community bringing new narratives and voices for regeneration, diversity and inclusion.

Her current focus includes innovation convenings in civil society, regenerative business models, and organisational design.
